'Living a Nightmare': Families of Missing Teenagers Desperately Seek News After Alpine Blaze
The relatives of young people unaccounted for after a devastating blaze at a venue in a Switzerland's winter destination are confronting an agonising period of uncertainty for answers and requesting clues about their children publicly.
The blaze devastated the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the mountains of south-west Switzerland, in the early hours of January 1st. Confirmed images reveal the roof structure catching alight as bottles with fireworks are held aloft.
Authorities have warned that it could take considerable time to formally name the those who perished of the disaster, which claimed the lives of 40 people and injured another 119. A spokesperson stated on the latest update that the majority of the injured have been accounted for, with efforts continuing to identify the other six.
In the waiting period, families and friends have been posting on social media to appeal for any news about their loved ones who were present at the venue that evening.
Desperate Searches for the Missing
The whereabouts of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, 16, are not yet determined, according to an public plea from his mother.

His parent, told media that his son was at the bar and was last heard from around midnight. An official spokesperson has clarified that a official announcement of his death is still pending.

Giovanni Tamburi, sixteen, is likewise unaccounted for. His mother told reporters that he had been on holiday but had ventured out with a group and ended up at the bar.
