The young golfer will have numerous well-known cheerleaders when she starts her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to Donald Trump, received a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
The former president, a passionate golfer, operates numerous golf courses and frequently plays against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she mentioned.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, unable to come, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa basically told me to play and have fun," she continued.
"From my perspective, he's simply a normal grandpa. He won't be there this weekend. He's focused on presidential duties, making him rather occupied."
As an amateur, Kai has played in only three events this year and has ranking 461 in AJGA rankings.
However she can receive tips from golf legend, romantically involved with Kai's mother.
"He represents the top athlete in the world," Kai expressed.
"Furthermore, he's a superior person. He advised me to play, relax, adapting to whatever happens."
She'll challenge multiple the biggest names in the sport at the competition, such as world number two the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Officials commented that her participation exposes golf to new audiences, particularly with the next generation.
